DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0215Z April 14, 2007


North Carolina:
On the southeast Atlantic coast there is a large fire in Carteret county
that is producing a significant amount of moderately dense smoke that
is extending 120 nmi off the coast.

Georgia:
Many fires dispersed throughout the southern half of Georgia are producing
light to moderately dense smoke that is mainly moving so the south.

Louisiana/Alabama:
In the southeast portion of Louisiana and southwest corner of Alabama
there are multiple fires producing moderately dense to dense smoke that
is moving all the way up the Louisiana and Alabama border.

Idaho:
In Latah county there is a fire producing moderately dense smoke that
is moving north towards the Canadian border before visibility is limited
by weather clouds.

Montana:
On the border of Miller and Morgan counties there is a fire producing
moderately dense smoke that is extending to the east northeast.
