DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0155Z April 25, 2007

Georgia/ Mississippi:
The fire in southern Ware County in southeastern Georgia produced a
plume of very heavy smoke that moved eastward to the Atlantic Ocean. A
fire in southeastern Jones County in southeastern Mississippi caused a
plume of moderate smoke that moved to the north.

Florida:
A large fire in western Collier County in southwestern Florida caused a
plume of thin smoke that drifted west then northwestward over the Gulf
of Mexico.

Texas/ Oklahoma:
Strong winds blew narrow plumes of thin smoke to the northeast from
a fire in Ellis County in western Oklahoma and a fire in western Deaf
Smith County in the Texas Panhandle.
