DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1625Z September 16, 2007

Alberta/Saskatchewan/Montana/Idaho/Oregon/Washington/North Dakota:
The residual thin to moderately dense smoke from the fires in central
Idaho, western Montana, northern Washington, Oregon, and southeastern
British Columbia has covered a larege area including southern Alberta
and southern Saskatchewan of Canada, northern Idaho, northern half of
Montana, and western half of North Dakota.

Wyoming/South Dakota/Colorado/Nebraska:
The residual thin to moderately smoke from the large fire in Pine County
in east central Nevada has covered a large area including all of Wyoming,
South Dakota, northern Colorado, and most of Nebraska.

California/Nevada:
The big fire in southwestern San Bernardino County in southern California
is still producing moderately dense of very narrow plume that is moving
northeasterly into southern Nevada.
