DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0220Z November 05, 2007

Arizona/New Mexico:
A fire in southern Coconino county of Arizona is produciing a dense to
locally very dense plume of smoke that is moving northerly into cetnral
Coconino county. A fire in central Yavapai county of Arizona is producing
a dense to locally dense plume of smoke that is moving northerly into
northern Yavapai county. A fire in western Yavapai county of Arizona
is producing a moderately dense to dense plume of smoke that is moving
northerly and influcing locally. A fire in central Sandval county of
NM is producing a dense to locally dense plume of smoke that is moving
northerly into northern Sandval county.

California:
Sevral fires in Mono and Toulumne counties of central California are
producing moderately dense to locally dense plumes of smoke that are
moving northeasterly and influencing locally.

Oregon/Washington/Vancouver Island:
Many fires in Oregon including Grant, Polk, Lake, Klamath, Douglas,
Harney, and Deschutes counties of Oregon are producing moderately
dense plumes of smoke that are moving either northerly or southerly
and influcing locally. A fire in southern Garfield county of southern
Washington is producing a thin to moderately dense plume of smoke that
is moving northward into central of Garfield county. Two fires in Chelan
county of Washington are producing thin plumes of smoke that are moving
northerly into central of the county. A fire in southern Vancouver Island
is producing a thin to moderately dense plume of smoke that is moving
southerly and influcing locally.

Louisiana/Mississippi/Alabama/Georgia/Florida/North Carolina:
Many fires in south of the states including Louisiana, Mississippi,
Alabama, and Georgia are producing thin to moderately dense plumes of
smoke that are moving mainly northeasterly and influcing locally. Several
fires along the Gulf of Mexico in Florida Panhandle are producing thin
and long plumes of smoke that are moving mainly southerly into the
Gulf. A fire in Robeson county of western North Carolina is producing
a thin to moderately dense plume of smoke that is moving westerly into
central Brunswick county.
