Western United States: Scattered fires in southern Oregon and northern California produced narrow plumes of light and moderate smoke that drifted mostly to the north and northeast. Southeastern United States: Numerous agricultural burns in the Southeast caused light and moderate smoke plumes from northern Florida and Georgia to the Lower Mississippi Valley.
