DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0300Z February 10, 2008

Mississippi:
A moderate smoke plume is moving into Jasper and Clarke County. The
plume originated on the border of Jasper and Smith Counties, the plume is
moving towards the southeast, and it extends out 75 miles from the source.

Northern Florida:
A heavy smoke plume in southeast Lafayette County is moving towards
the east and extends out 15 miles from the source.  The plume becomes
moderate in density as it reaches northern Gilchrist County and southern
Suwannee County, and into western Alachua County. The moderate smoke
plume extends out 50 miles from the source.

There are numerous smaller smoke plumes spread throughout the
southeast. Most of these plumes are moving in an eastward fashion.
