DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0310Z February 26, 2008

Texas:
A fire in Sterling County is producing a heavy smoke plume extending east
into central Coke County, central Runnels County, and into far western
Coleman County. Moderate smoke from this plume extends further east into
central Brown County, and the extent of the smoke spans across 100 miles.

Mississippi:
In southeast Perry County, a moderate smoke plume is moving towards the
north-northeast into far east Perry County and northwest Greene County.
The smoke plume extends roughly 40 miles from the source.
