DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0315Z February 27, 2008

Louisiana:
In Vernon and Rapides Counties, two light smoke plumes are moving
southeast and are extending all the way to the Gulf Coast into Vermilion
County, some 50 miles away from the source. Along the border of Calcasieu
and Cameron Counties, a light smoke plume is moving southeast over the
Gulf of Mexico.

Texas:
In Dimmit County, a light smoke plume is moving south into extreme
Northern Mexico.

Oklahoma:
A light smoke plume in Roger Mills County is moving southeast into
Beckham County.
