DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0300Z March 1, 2008

Florida:
Along the border of Wakulla and Leon Counties, a moderately dense smoke
plume was observed moving northwest into southwest Leon County. In Baker
County, a moderate smoke plume was seen moving north into the northern
portion of the county, and the smoke plume also extends into extreme
southern Charleton County in Georgia.

Georgia:
A moderate smoke plume was observed moving north into Jasper County,
and in northern McDuffie County, a moderate smoke plume was seen moving
north into Lincoln County along the South Carolina border.

South Carolina:
In Chesterfield County, a moderate to heavy smoke plume was seen moving
north into the central part of the county. Light smoke from the same
fire also extends into extreme southern Anson County, which is in North
Carolina.
