DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Southeastern and southcentral U.S.: Scattered fires are already appearing throughout the southeast and Oklahoma and Texas, but most do not yet have plumes that can be seen in GOES imagery. However two fires in southeastern Georgia are producing narrow plumes of moderate smoke that extend toward the southwest and a fire in western Bath County, Virginia is producing a narrow plume of thick smoke that extends toward the northeast.
