DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 2345Z MARCH 31, 2008

Kansas, Oklahoma

Numerous fires in Kansas and northern Oklahoma is  producing an area of
moderately dense smoke about 60 nmi wide approximately bounded by the
counties Butler, Coffee, Payne in Kansas and Tulsa in Ohlahoma. Dispersed
smoke is visible over much of the rest of southern Kansas and northern
Oklahoma

Hawaii

A wide plume of thin dispersed smoke extends west-southwestward from
the Big Island.

Elsewhere widespread smoke is not observed.
