DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 1530Z SEPTEMBER 14, 2008

Utah/Arizona/California:
The fire located in north central Kane County Utah, continues to emit
light to moderately dense smoke.  The smoke produced from this fire
yesterday through 1530UTC today can be seen extending into Arizona and
the southeastern portion of California.  The Cascadel Fire located in
eastern Fresno County continues to generate light smoke which is moving
to the north across most of California where it then merges with the smoke
from the Deerhorn Fire and Klamath Complex located in northern California.

Oregon:
Light smoke from the Rattle Fire and Lonesome Complex is fanning out
across most of the state and moving to the north.
