DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY
THROUGH 0015Z NOVEMBER 24, 2008

Louisiana:
In the Parrish of St. Tammany, a plume of moderately dense to dense
smoke can be seen emanating from the central portion of the Parrish and
extending north into Washington Parrish.

Arizona:
A fire in the southern portion of Apache County is generating light to
moderately dense smoke which is fanning out to the south covering most
of northern Greenlee County.  Another plume of light smoke can be seen
originating in the western portion of Coconino County from which it
extends to the west.

California:
In the south central region of El Dorado County, light to moderately
dense smoke is fanning out to the north reaching Nevada County.  There are
several smaller fires in Colusa, Glenn, Sierra and Plumas counties which
are emitting light smoke which is relatively localized to the counties
of origin.
