Southeast US: Numerous agricultural burns took place this afternoon over Alabama, northern Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina, producing light smoke plumes. Due to variable winds, the plumes extended in all different directions with most plumes moving towards the east, and extending out between 30-45km from their sources. Florida: In Okaloosa County, a light to moderately dense smoke plume was observed moving to the north into southern Alabama, Escambia and Covington counties, and the plume extended out roughly 90km from its source.
