DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

No large areas of detached smoke or SO2 could be detected due to large areas of cloudy conditions. Smoke from AK fires and CA fires can be seen on graphic or GIS at web addresses below. Dust/Sand: Texas: Seabreeze from Gulf of Mexico can be seen using sand and dust as tracers across much of S TX into NE Mexico arcing parallel to the GoM from a large fire in Colorado county, TX to Lavaca to McMullen to Jim Hogg counties and through to Nuevo Leon state in Mexico. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
