DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Pacific Northwest/ Canada: Remnant smoke from the fires in Oregon, Montana, Idaho, British Columbia, and Alberta is still seen from south central Oregon through southwestern and central British Columbia, much of Alberta and central Saskatchewan, with the leading edge of lighter smoke in central Manitoba. A patch of moderate to dense is also seen around the southwest Montana/Idaho border moving southwest into central Idaho. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
