DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

California: In the central part of the state, residual light smoke and/or dust is drifting to the south. Also, a fire producing moderately dense to dense smoke in Humboldt County is now moving to the southeast while lingering smoke from earlier is moving to the southwest of the fire and extends out 100km from the source. RCE More information on the areas of smoke described above as well as others can be found at the locations listed below. THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
