DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Louisiana: Large fires in Rapides and Vernon counties are producing large areas of moderately dense to dense smoke moving south across Allen, Evangeline, Jefferson Davis, Arcadia, Cameron, Vermillion, Calcasieu and Beauregard counties. One of the fires burning in central Vernon county is producing smoke that is reaching the Gulf of Mexico. Panhandle of Florida: Three fires burning in Walton county are producing light to moderately dense smoke moving south SW into the Gulf of Mexico.
