DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Central Plains through MS and TN Valleys: A large area of light smoke could be seen in this morning's satellite imagery extending from eastern Oklahoma eastward through southern Missouri/northern Arkansas and into northern portions of Alabama and Mississippi and through central Tennessee and Kentucky. There were a numerous amount of wildfires and agricultural burns through the central/southern plains yesterday and into the overnight hours which resulted in the large amount of remnant smoke that can be seen moving eastward today. Northeastern Gulf of Mexico: An area of light with some moderate smoke can be seen just off the Panhandle of Florida this morning and through the early afternoon hours. Remnant smoke from yesterday's fires across the central and southern US have contributed to this area which is now moving northward. Belge THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED.
