DESCRIPTIVE TEXT NARRATIVE FOR SMOKE/DUST OBSERVED IN SATELLITE IMAGERY

Gulf of Mexico/Florida and SE Coastal Atlantic: Area of light to moderate remnant smoke over the eastern Gulf of Mexico and along the front extending through southern Florida and off the east coast. Smoke is from fires burning in southern Florida and the Southeast last night as well as agricultural fires burning in Central America. Liddick THE FORMAT OF THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS BEING MODIFIED. IT WILL NO LONGER DESCRIBE THE VARIOUS PLUMES THAT ARE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES.
