Florida/Gulf of Mexico: The County Line fire continues to generate large amounts of moderately dense to dense smoke. This smoke is moving to the southwest, with the southern-most extension passing over Tampa Bay. Over the northern portion of the Gulf of Mexico a thin layer of aerosols can be seen and this is believed to be remnant smoke from the previous days of burning at the County Line fire. -Salemi THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS PRIMARILY INTENDED TO DESCRIBE SIGNIFICANT AREAS SMOKE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES AND SMOKE WHICH HAS BECOME DETACHED FROM THE FIRES AND DRIFTED SOME DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE SOURCE FIRE..TYPICALLY OVER THE COURSE OF ONE OR MORE DAYS.
