until sunset from western Texas, just north of the Midland/Odessa area
and extended to the northeast into southwest Oklahoma near Altus.

Previous Discussion:

Florida Panhandle/Eastern Gulf of Mexico:
An area of thin remnant smoke from yesterday's ag fires in the Southeast
could be seen drifting westward over the northeastern Gulf of Mexico
and along the Florida Panhandle. Another smaller area of aerosol that
is thought to be remnant smoke was present to the west of the numerous
ag fires burning in Florida south of Lake Okeechobee.
