Areas affected by this smoke include: Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska. This smoke originates form the surge of remnant smoke that has been traveling east from the fires across Asia. Texas: A plume of very light remnant smoke is visible extending through the eastern region of Texas moving south towards the Gulf of Mexico.
