SMOKE: Arizona/Northwest Mexico: Several wildfires in central Arizona are producing an area of moderate to localized very dense smoke that extended from portions of southwestern New Mexico through central Arizona towards southern Utah. Central Canada/Northern Plains: Light residual smoke is seen moving southeast into portions of the Northern Plains. The source region of this smoke is likely fire activity over northern Alberta. Alaska: An area of remnant smoke likely from fire activity over Siberia extended from portions of central and southwest Alaska west to north of the Aleutians. DUST: An area of blowing dust was seen over portions of the southwest that was likely mixing with smoke from fires over Arizona. This area extended from portions of southwestern Utah southwest through northern Arizona and southern Nevada towards southern California.
