SMOKE: South Central Canada to the Southern Plains States: A large area of thin remnant smoke extended from portions of northern Manitoba west towards central Alberta and then south through Central and Southern Plains. Within this, an area of moderate density smoke was seen over southeastern Colorado and was likely from the fire activity over north central Colorado. Further north, an area of moderate density smoke was seen over portions of central Manitoba and southern Alberta. This is likely from recent fire activity over northern Alberta, northern Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories.
