SMOKE: California/Oregon to the Plains: The wildfires that have been burning in the West have left a large area of light density remnant smoke that covers much of central California, most of the moderate dense smoke is surrounding the fires. Another area of light to moderate density smoke is seen coming from Oregon and central Idaho moving eastward through northern Nevada and Wyoming, southeastern Montana, most of the Dakotas, northern Nebraska and Iowa, most of Minnesota, Wisconsin and western Lake Superior. A patch of moderate density remnant smoke extending from eastern Oregon and across central Idaho. Due to some cloud coverage, it is difficult to determine the full extent of smoke.
