Numerous likely agricultural burns were observed producing mainly thin smoke this morning from Texas reaching southern Virginia. The smoke was moving in all direction. Due to cloud coverage obscuring the view, there is likely to be a little more smoke than analyzed. Pacific NW and British Columbia... From central British Columbia into Oregon, there were scattered fires. Due to cloud coverage, smoke was not visible. Rodriguez THIS TEXT PRODUCT IS PRIMARILY INTENDED TO DESCRIBE SIGNIFICANT AREAS OF SMOKE ASSOCIATED WITH ACTIVE FIRES AND SMOKE WHICH HAS BECOME DETACHED FROM THE FIRES AND DRIFTED SOME DISTANCE AWAY FROM THE SOURCE FIRE. TYPICALLY OVER THE COURSE OF ONE OR MORE DAYS. AREAS OF BLOWING DUST ARE ALSO DESCRIBED.
