SMOKE: Western Quebec and Central Ontario to the Upper Midwest and Central Plains States…. The narrow axis of light density smoke from earlier today that is believed to come from the fires over the southwest United States was seen widening and further extending from portions of western Quebec through southern Ontario, the Upper Midwest, into the Central Plains of the United States, and then moving south over Texas and all over the eastern coast of Mexico. Southeastern Arizona, Texas, Western New Mexico... The Mescal and Telegraph wildfire complexes in Southeastern Arizona and the Doagy Fire in western New Mexico were emitting large amounts of light to heavy density smoke progressing northeast into New Mexico and then the plumes combine as they are swept north over the Central Plains reaching Canada and southeast extending throughout most of Texas and over much of Mexico. Eastern New England and extending offshore…. An area that is believed to be light smoke of unknown origin extended further east into the Atlantic Ocean. DUST: Tropical Atlantic Ocean to the southeastern Caribbean Islands… An area of blowing dust was seen extending west through the Tropical Atlantic Ocean through the southeastern Caribbean Islands and into the southeastern Caribbean Sea.
