SMOKE: CONUS and Southern Canada .. Heavy density smoke was also observed around the McKinney and Yet and Alex wildfires near the California-Oregon border, with their smoke plumes dispersing toward the northeast into southeastern Oregon. Alaska/Northwestern Canada... A plume of light-density smoke was visible from western Alaska to the Northwest Territories. A pocket of medium-to-heavy smoke originating from a few active wildfires could be seen near the sources in northeastern Alaska, extending eastward over northwestern Yukon.
