The thickest smoke originated from the northwestern U.S. and British Columbia, where the numerous wildfires were releasing large amounts of moderate to thick smoke throughout the day and was observed throughout southern British Columbia, Idaho, western Montana, Oregon, Washington and California. Another wildfire in Northern British Columbia was producing a large amount of moderate to thick smoke throughout the day that was moving east into Alberta, Saskatchewan, southern Manitoba, and western Ontario,, in addition at least moderate smoke was observed engulfing the two regions. Remnant smoke was observed over Nova Scotia region and extending south along the eastern U.S coast and Atlantic ocean.
