SMOKE: Southern Canada/Much of CONUS/Atlantic Ocean... The smoke continued out and over the Atlantic Ocean off the southeastern U.S. coast. The thickest smoke originated from the northwestern U.S. and British Columbia, where the numerous wildfires were releasing large amounts of moderate to thick smoke. Thickest smoke was also seen in northern California, emitting towards the NE.
