NESDIS will change the spatial resolution of the GOES-15 13.3 um
Hawaii **and WCONUS AWIPS Image Sectors from 8 km to their full
native
resolution at 4 km and disseminate them through the SBN/NOAAPort.
All other GOES-15 AWIPS sectors will remain at the same resolution. The
WMO Headers for the upgraded sectors are:
GOES-15 13.3 um WCONUS Sector -- TIGW06 KNES and
GOES-15 13.3 um Hawaii Regional Sector -- TIGH06 KNES
Please recall the GOES-15 WCONUS Water Vapor AWIPS sector image is also
at 4 km. It's WMO Header is: TIGW05 KNES.
