Details/Specifics of Change: GOES-15 (GOES-West) will be performing
a Yaw
Flip Maneuver for one hour and 10 minutes on Tuesday, March 20,
2012 from
2021 UTC until 2130 UTC. Please note: There is no backup date for this
maneuver. A recovery period will follow immediately and last until
Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 0044 UTC. During the recovery period,
routine imager and sounder scans will be performed; however, the
navigation
may still be out of specifications until the end of the recovery
period.
GOES-13 (GOES-East) will perform Full Disk coverage from 2015-2144
UTC on
March 20, 2012
On March 21, 2012 0800-1100 UTC, the following images and soundings
will be
shortened or replaced due to navigation constraints during eclipse.
