*Product(s) or Data Impacted:* All LRIT data products on the
LRIT East
and West Broadcasts including GOES Imagery, GOES DCS and EMWIN
re-broadcasts and environmental products.
*Date/Time of Initial Impact: * April 10, 2012 at 13:00 UTC.
*Date/Time of Expected end:* April 10, 2012 at 18:00 UTC.
*Length of Event: *There will be two short (less than 30 minutes)
outages between 13:00 UTC and 13:30 UTC and again at approximately
16:00 UTC on April 10th, 2012. EMWIN on LRIT will not be available for
approximately 3 hours.
*Details/Specifics of Change:* The LRIT East and West Broadcasts
will be
interrupted due to the switching of LRIT operations to the Critical
Infrastructure Protection (CIP) facility during a planned activation.
Concurrently, the LRIT uplink servers will be moved to a new physical
location. Every effort will be made to make the outages as short as
possible. This test is being conducted to test the redundant LRIT
system prior to the Atlantic Hurricane Season.
