Full Earth Images, if any, will not be disseminated. Upon resuming the Rapid Scanning Service, most meteorological products may take up to 30 minutes to resume. Note, the Multi-Sensor Precipitation Estimate (MPE) may take up to 18 hours to fully resume. Until Further Notice Meteosat-8 is currently operating in Earth Mode due to a problem with the sun sensor data on board. Monthly RSS interruption
