As part of this transition, the new DDS, (DDSProd) will get the alias DDS. All approved DDS users are set up. If you are an approved DDS user, we recommend that you eliminate your DNS caches after 1430 UTC on September 17, 2012, and confirm that the name DDS is resolving to the new IP (ending with a 7). Otherwise it could take hours or even days for your local DNS to associate the name DDS with the new IP address. Please note: Users who were denied continued access to the DDS in the re-validation process, will not receive data after September 17, 2012 1430 UTC.
