The problem has been reported to FNMOC for further investigation and possible fix. Given the impact of the anomaly on the blended RR product and its persistency and large impacted area, a decision has been made to temporarily remove the SSMIS rain rate data from the blended RR product. As a result, the blended RR product will be generated with slightly reduced spatial and temporal coverage. *Contact Information for Further Information:* ESPC Operations at ESPCOperations@noaa.gov at 301-817-3880 ** *Web Site(s) for applicable information:* http://www.ospo.noaa.gov/Products/atmosphere/brr/index.html This message was sent from ESPC.Notification@noaa.gov.
