A gain increase by 1 dB for channels 3 and 4 of MHS onboard Metop-A will be performed during the out-of-plane spacecraft manoeuvre on 20 March. Users may notice this change by a sudden jump in space view counts, warm target view counts and calibration coefficients. No degradation of the Level 1B products is expected. Gain increase effects will be noticed by the users when the instrument switches back to Scan Mode after the out-of-plane manoeuvre. 21 March 2013 Metop-B - IASI TOP upload (On-board processing update).
