For the S-NPP passes during this outage we will be utilizing our FCDAS (Fairbanks) teleport to minimize impacts to our S-NPP customers. SMD will be transmitted from FCDAS but also captured at SVL in to assure data capture.We anticipate no impact to SMD or SC H&S contacts. There is a chance however that testing could impact if systems do not function as anticipated. SMD will be captured at both FCDAS and SVL so no data loss is anticipated. Any SMD impact caused by this upgrade should be limited to a delay in transmission of the SMD.
