The new OPS offers a much improved performance than the old Okeanos OPS: the new system is capable of running five processing streams of MODIS/Aqua ocean color products, e.g., operational ocean color products from each of the NASA-SEADAS (GSFC l2gen) NIR, NOAA NIR-SWIR and Chesapeake-Bay algorithms, operational products of chlorophyll front, and pre-operational products of global Emiliania huxleyi Bloom Maps and calcite concentration. The products are available in the following new URL: ftp://cw-okeanos.noaa.gov/pub/. Operational monitoring of product quality is provided in the NOAA/OSPO Okeanos ocean color products monitoring web site (http://www.ospo.noaa.gov/Products/ocean/color/index.html). Please note that we will run the old and new Okeanos OPS in parallel only for the next 60 days. In late July, 2013, we will retire the old Okeanos OPS including the current ftp site (ftp://ftpoceanwatch.noaa.gov/). Please work on switching your access from the current to the new ftp site at your earliest convenience. If you have any questions in accessing to the new ftp site, please contact with our system programmers, Ian Simpson (ian.simpson@noaa.gov) or Edmond Rodriguez (edmond.rodriguez@noaa.gov).
