This will reduce the ground pixel sizes for measurements at nominal integration times of 0.1875 to 40 by 40 km. Polarisation device measurements (PMD) ground pixel sizes will be reduced to 40 by 5 km. 2) GOME-2 on Metop-A: The monthly narrow swath scanning period will be replaced with one day of scanning using a 320 km swath. 3) GOME-2 on Metop-B: Nominal scanning will be unaffected (1920 km swath). 4) GOME-2 on Metop-B: The monthly narrow scanning sequence will be removed from the 29 days repeat cycle.
