*Details/Specifics of Change: *The GOES-13 (GOES-East) Sounder has been
experiencing unexpected scan line lengths resulting in occasional
pixel
gaps in the Sounder images across all channels since July 1, 2013. Some
images show only a single gap, other have several gaps. The root cause
of this error is "Unknown" at this time; however, no telemetry
violations have occurred, and all Sounder filter wheel telemetry data,
including Filter wheel currents and period monitor, are nominal.
Investigations are underway to determine the root cause.
Apologies for any inconvenience these degraded data may be causing to
customer's operations. If you find that any of your products are
