This means the cw-okeanos.noaa.gov ftp site won't be updated with new information while the work is ongoing. This also will result in the outage of MODIS/Aqua chlorophyll frontal products. Please note that the old Operational system (Old OPS) is, and will be fully available during the outage period, providing all operational ocean color products except for the frontal products that were generated in the new OPS. Also, the frontal products during the outage period will be recovered after the system is back to work, thus with no permanent gap in our frontal product coverage. In addition, due to the upgrade of the new OPS, the retirement of the old OPS that was planned on 07/22/2013) would be delayed a few days. The Ocean Color new Operational system (New OPS) service was down since 07/12/2013 and will continued to be down for several days for maintenance planned by the ESPC IT team, while its GPFS shared storage device is upgraded.
