A full spectrum test executed in March 2013 showed an overflow on the Mission Data Formatter (MDF) due to the increase of CrIS data to HRD. A new bit trim mask has been delivered to mitigate overloading the HRD stream limit of 15 mbps. This 24-hour full spectrum test will be conducted to validate the new bit trim mask. For the duration of the test CrIS will be removed out of HRD to prevent losing any mission data due to MDF overflow. The CrIS cal/val team will evaluate the performance of the revised full spectrum bit trim mask through-out the test. * Contact Information for Further Information:*ESPC Operations at ESPCOperations@noaa.gov and 301-817-3880 *Web Site(s) for applicable information:*N/A This message was sent by ESPC.Notification@noaa.gov .
