*Update #4: *Operational promotion of GOES Hourly Winds has been
postponed in order to allow for further algorithm and model
assimilation
testing. The eventual promotion date is yet to be determined, but will
be no sooner than October 2013.
*Update #3: *Operational promotion of GOES Hourly Winds has been
postponed until September 24, 2013 at 1500 UTC. *
Update #2: *To accommodate additional testing in NWP models, ESPC will
postpone the operational promotion of GOES Hourly Winds which was
originally scheduled for Tuesday August 6, 2013 at 1500 UTC. The new
implementation date is set for Tuesday August 27, 2013 at 1500 UTC. *
*Update #1: **Due to the Critical Weather Day, we will have to
reschedule to replace GOES 3-hourly winds with GOES hourly winds at
ESPC. The new date to implement this operational replacement will be
1500 UTC on August 6th (Next Tuesday). **
