Operations (OSPO) Satellite Analysis Branch (SAB) is experiencing a
partial disruption in product generation. Satellite Precipitation
Estimate Messages (SPENES) and OSPO Volcanic Ash Products produced by
SAB are affected.
Quantitative satellite-derived precipitation estimates and satellite
trend guidance to the National Weather Service (NWS) will be generated
manually via backup method, and will not include any graphics.
Air Force Weather Agency (AFWA) assumed Washington Volcanic Ash
Advisory
Center (VAAC) backup responsibility.
The network outage is being investigated.
