Cancellation of upcoming Meteosat-8 RSS gap filling Due to a mechanical failure of one of the MSG antennas at the Usingen ground station, the Meteosat-8 RSS 48-hour gap filling scheduled to take place in December 2013, and the month-long RSS gap filling from mid-January to mid-February 2014 will no longer take place. The status of the RSS gap filling planned for March 2014 will be announced closer to the time. The Meteosat-9 RSS service will continue as scheduled.
