ESA quadrant 1 (Earth Sensor Array) will be disabled while the new coefficients are being uplinked, and re-enabled after installation of the new coefficients is complete. The update is necessary to compensate for quadrant 1 lens fogging, and to more closely match quadrant one to the other three quadrants. The new coefficients will not cause any noticeable changes operationally except for possibly slightly larger than normal yaw updates for several orbits after the new coefficients are installed. Small changes in roll/pitch pointing vectors are also expected. These changes will be evaluated in imaging. If the procedure is preempted by Critical Weather Day it will be rescheduled. *Contact Information for Further Information:* ESPC Operations at ESPCOperations@noaa.gov and 301-817-3880* Web Site(s) for applicable information:* N/A You have been sent this and other notifications because you have opted in to receive it.
