During eclipse seasons, stray light affects the way the spacecraft instrument is commanded. There are periods where the black body calibration is performed after the instrument retrace instead of prior to it. This delays files for the time of the calibration (approximately three minutes) which then affects the data timeliness in the same way. This nominal calibration activity during eclipse season will therefore cause periods of noticeable delays to reception of data by Users.
