UPDATE: The outage continues; however, GOES Ingest and NOAAPORT
Interface
(GINI) AWIPS East and West Data were switched to backup systems and are
operational. Operational AWIPS products, including Level 2 AWIPS
products -
GOES LCB, Blended TPW and RR, and the AWIPS composite, are being
produced
and disseminated.

Details/Specifics of Change: At approximately 0330 UTC on June 14,
2014,
the Environmental Satellite Processing Center (ESPC) experienced
an unknown
network connectivity issue, and unable to send or receive products
and/or
data.  Wide range of applications and associated end-products,
including
webpages are impacted by this outage.

GOES Ingest and NOAAPORT Interface (GINI) AWIPS East and West Data were
switched to backup systems and are operational.  Operational AWIPS
products, including Level 2 AWIPS products - GOES LCB, Blended TPW
and RR,
and the AWIPS composite are being produced and disseminated.

GINI is currently running operationally at Wallops, VA starting
with the
0545 UTC East and 0540 UTC West.

The problem is being investigated.  The emergency personnel have been
recalled and are in the process of bringing systems back up.
